New 50/50 lottery aims to help reach ACCESS Open Minds $3 million fundraising target

A 50/50 lottery for the ACCESS Open Minds youth centre project will aim to reach an increased fundraising target. To date, just over $1.7 million in funding has been pledged or received for ACCESS with an overall goal of $3 million.

“As a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, building costs have grown exponentially,” says Kathy Alexander, Executive Director, Bluewater Health Foundation. “We’re excited to announce this new opportunity for the community to get involved, win big, and help us build this important space for youth in our community.”

The lottery, powered by Ascend Fundraising Solutions, will hold draws each month for four months, starting in July and ending in October. July’s lottery kicks off July 5 with an earlybird deadline of July 21, earlybird draw date of July 22, final deadline of August 5, and final draw date of August 6.

Lottery earlybird sponsors are Apex IT Solutions (July), Bluewater Power (August), Blue Coast Team (September), and Colin McElrea and Anthony Petrucci of the Law Office of GMSB (October).
