Bluewater Health Foundation launches bwhf.ca

Visitors to Bluewater Health Foundation’s website will notice a significant change this week. Today, the Foundation launched a brand new, fully responsive website, which can now be found on the World Wide Web at bwhf.ca.

In addition to a new URL, the site features a brand new look and feel, and is fully responsive, offering maximum viewing from any digital device. Visitors to the site can find general information about the Foundation, online giving options, upcoming events, and stories showing the impact donations have on the hospital. Additionally, information regarding the Dream Home Lottery is now also housed on the new site.

“We’re so excited to be able to offer a new, accessible platform for us to share our stories and show the impact philanthropy has on our community and at Bluewater Health,” said Kathy Alexander, Executive Director, Bluewater Health Foundation. “I am so proud of this new site and the months of hard work that went into bringing it to fruition.”

The site, built over the course of six months by Foundation staff and the team at CCI Studios, also meets the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act WCAG 2.0 Level AA guidelines.

“Technology and the way we browse the Internet has significantly changed since we launched our previous site over seven years ago,” said Alexander. “Since our website is often the first point of contact for many people wishing to make a donation or support the Foundation, it is important that it be easy to navigate and viewable not only on desktops and laptops, but on phones and tablets as well.”

Bluewater Health Foundation encourages visitors to share their feedback regarding the new site online at bwhf.ca/feedback.
