Kel-Gor Limited is a Sarnia-based mechanical contractor, servicing the city’s petrochemical and energy industry for almost 50 years. In 2017, Kel-Gor Limited employed 815 people, with the majority coming from local unionized trades. Formed in 1969, Kel-Gor Limited is an independent, family-owned business and will continue to be operated as such by the next generation. The company’s many philanthropic activities stem from the desire of its employees to give back to the community. Over the years, the company has sponsored many of Bluewater Health Foundation’s special events such as the Hoedown for Healthcare and the fall Tribute Gala. Most recently, a $25,000 donation was made on behalf of all Kel-Gor Limited employees to purchase an isolette for the Maternal Infant Child department. This vital piece of equipment prevents potentially life-threatening conditions by ensuring premature infants and newborns maintain their body temperature. The generosity of Kel-Gor Limited and its employees has made a tremendous difference for the over 1,000 families who welcome a new life into the world each year at Bluewater Health!
