Dream Home Lottery returns October 1

SARNIA, October 1, 2021 - Tickets for the 27th Dream Home Lottery officially go on sale on October 1. This year’s grand prize dream home, located at 620 Mead Court in Sarnia, is valued at $933,870, and includes furniture, electronics and appliances. The lottery is once again a partnership between Bluewater Health Foundation and Charlotte Eleanor Englehart Hospital Foundation.

“In a world that is ever changing, it feels good to be getting back into some normalcy with this year’s Dream Home Lottery,” says Kathy Alexander, Executive Director, Bluewater Health Foundation. “The pandemic has continued to impact fundraising efforts of our foundations and this year’s lottery is more important than ever before. This year’s home is built by Iacobelli Construction Limited and designed by Designs by Leena. The grand prize features a fully furnished dream home or an alternate cash prize of $800,000. The prize board also includes a brand new BMW, donated in part by BMW Sarnia, cash prizes, plus many exciting new prizes including Love Lambton local prize draws, free Dream Home Lottery tickets, and cash early bird prizes. Tickets will be available for purchase online at bwhfdreamhome.com or by phone at 1-844-667-3251 this year. Tickets for a 50/50 add on are also available with purchase of a Dream Home Lottery ticket.

In person open houses are set to commence in November based on advice from Canada’s health authorities. Tickets can be purchased using cash or cheque at the dream home during the open houses. Announcements regarding open houses will be made on the Foundation’s social media channels.

Over the last 26 years, the Dream Home Lottery has successfully raised over $8 million for Sarnia-Lambton’s community hospital.
